RIM Professionals Australasia Records Management Research Grant
The RIM Professionals Australasia has a a research grant available to members. The goal of the RIM Professionals Australasia Research Grant is to award a grant on an annual basis to support a research project that will enhance records management. More details on the Research Grant here.
Continuing Education
Discounts to Conventions, seminars and workshops which provide the opportunity for members to obtain updated knowledge and skills and to further discuss those issues effecting records and information management. Networking Opportunities

Free quarterly issues of IQ – The RIM Professionals Australasia Quarterly, the Associations professional journal (normal subscription price AU$90.00 including GST, AU$81.82 for overseas). As the leading professional journal in the field, IQ – The RIM Professionals Australasia Quarterly contains peer reviewed articles and information provided by various sources throughout Australia on new and exciting issues effecting the industry. IQ – The RIM Professionals Australasia Quarterly also advertises records management software, services and equipment.
Members also receive free access to our annual publication iRMA (information and records management annual) which contains refereed articles and case studies covering a range of records and information related topics which are too long to place in IQ. It is released around March each year and for non members is AU$77.00 including GST to purchase (AU$70.00 for overseas)
Newsletters
Free newsletters available in hard copy or on the web. Each state/territory provides a regular newsletter providing further information and articles on issues specific to the state or territory.
Web Site, List Serv and Forums
Free access to the Records Management List Serv and online Forums which includes discussion lists and positions vacant. Member-only access to new RIM Professionals Australasia services currently being developed on RIM Professionals Australasia web, including a product and services directory called Marketplace, and the ability to update your current details on-line.
