The Queensland Chapter, formerly known as the Qld Local Government & Corporations Chapter, was formed in 1997 and recently celebrated its 21st birthday. The Chapter’s aim is to host events, provide networking opportunities and share and disseminate information amongst records and information management professionals, whilst managing the challenge of tyranny of distance within Qld. The Chapter is open to organisations of all shapes, sizes and types - government, non-government and statutory bodies.
