DP Community Training Needs Survey from the DPC

Monday 12, Oct 2020

The DPC is pleased to announce the launch of a new survey which aims to collect information on training needs and available resources within the digital preservation community.

The short survey hopes to capture a high level view of digital preservation training needs around the world, as well as gathering information on current training courses and related resources. We will use the data collected to guide our own training plans, and will also publish on our website a full report of results. Information gathered on existing training courses will be used to seed a Wiki on digital preservation training opportunities that will be available to all. No information that might identify particular individuals will be shared beyond the staff of the DPC. An anonymized version of the raw data will also be made available to the community alongside the report.

We hope this survey will reach as many people as possible worldwide and would be grateful to anyone able to willing to encourage participation and share the link within their institution, local networks, professional organizations, or any where else you feel is relevant!
