These hidden prejudices can lead to unintended consequences, affecting team dynamics and overall performance, especially in the workplace. In this session, you will learn the way your mind works, how it influences your decisions, recognise the different types of bias, and gain tips for addressing and reducing bias in your personal and professional lives.
With over 15 years’ experience in Employee Engagement and Marketing, Lynette is passionate about inclusion and diversity, wellbeing, and culture building in the workplace, aimed at creating psychologically safe spaces.
Lynette is currently the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Consultant at Charles Darwin University, working to develop and implement strategies, initiatives, training, and programs to promote EDI and drive meaningful change throughout the University.
Before moving back to Australia, Lynette worked in the tech industry in Singapore at fast-growing organisations including LinkedIn and foodpanda, helping to support and drive new business growth through data-driven campaigns and storytelling.
