Day Two: The IM Futurist Think Tank Symposium
Synergy’s Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team has uplifted its EIM capabilities to meet the demands associated with managing information across Synergy’s major distributed energy resource (DER) projects. DER includes solar, battery storage and electric vehicles. The aim of this presentation is to showcase how Synergy’s EIM team uplifted its capabilities, over a 12-month period, so that the team is able to support Synergy’s complex DER projects.
Debbie completed her MBA in 2006 and recently completed her Master of IT Leadership with Deakin University. She is an Information Management (IM) leader with expertise across the full information lifecycle, including governance, records, knowledge management, information architecture, and digital enablement. She helps organisations treat information as a strategic asset, balancing compliance, risk, and regulatory obligations with accessibility and value creation.
With 30 years’ experience, Debbie has led IM strategies, frameworks, and policies aligned to organisational objectives, establishing governance structures, classification schemes, and retention and disposal controls. Partnering closely with key stakeholders, Debbie bridges business needs and technology, identifies digital opportunities, and drives change. Her pragmatic approach recognises that IM maturity depends on culture and capability.
