The journey to get data quality processes in place and reporting and accountability embedded at Australian Retirement Trust is ongoing but we have come along way. This has been a culture shift, from data quality being deemed a technical issue to now being seen as business issue.
There is now proactive and reactive data quality issue processes which we track and business areas collaborate on. This session is to provide a working example of how Australian Retirement Trust implemented an effective Data Quality Program.
Liz Daykin has strong expertise in data governance and data quality, having applied these skills for the past 5 years at Australian Retirement Trust. This role introduced a data governance structure, embedded frameworks, policy’s and standards and the relevant processes to ensure compliance, as well as creating a data quality process. These all uplifted the data maturity at Australian Retirement Trust.Liz has worked in data roles for two decades, previously in data mining and statistical and mathematical modelling which provided a strong foundation to be a leader in data governance. She is currently the Vice president of DAMA Australia.
