Karlheins comes from the local government organisation “The City of Marion” where he and his R&IM team have spent the past 6 years exploring what it looks like to use Microsoft SharePoint within the M365 enterprise suite as a replacement to the traditional stand-alone record system. While their journey is far from complete, they’d love to share with you the benefits, challenges and lessons they’ve learnt so far.
Karlheins is a passionate Records, Data and Information Management (RDIM) professional and has a strong background in transitioning government organisations from traditional records management practices to modern information management services through engaging with people and business practices, and embracing technology to address the new wave of RDIM challenges facing Australian government agencies.
Karlheins also has a range of specialised skills in this field including, Microsoft SharePoint and Purview administration (within the E5 M365 enterprise suite), staff management, service catalogue management, policy writing, training, archiving, auditing, data migration, statistical reporting, process automation and process mapping as well as a strong knowledge of Australian R&IM legislation, standards and industry best practice.
