Achieving organisational information management reform with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is notoriously challenging.

We crafted and executed a bespoke and scalable five-week program to work with individual business teams across our organisation. Our innovative approach involved redefining teams’ filing structures and procedures, improving SharePoint and MS Teams capabilities and security practices, and applying archiving solutions to support and facilitate future retention labelling.

Our approach resulted in rapid user engagement and tangible realisation of end-user value. Employees not only experienced the benefits, but the organisation reaped the reward of enhanced data governance and information handling practices.

Annabel commenced her career as an information management professional in a global energy company library in 1996. She then provided consulting services specialising in process engineering, document management and taxonomies for over 15 years for government and industrial organisations. Since 2014 she has been an internal Information Manager for a utility and currently a membership organisation. She has led digitisation projects, privacy reviews, EDRMS implementations, and driven record keeping “by design” into business processes and systems.
