After completing her Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) at Victoria University of Wellington, Irina embarked on an exciting and rewarding career in information management. Over the course of several decades, she honed her expertise in managing information and took on leadership roles, effectively leading information management teams within various public sector organisations.
In recent years Irina's career journey led her to join Intergen, a company now known as Capgemini, where she brought her wealth of knowledge and passion to help organisations harness the full potential of Microsoft technologies.
Irina's unwavering dedication, innovative thinking, and expertise in Microsoft 365 earned her the prestigious Intergen IAFTA Award for Technology Guruship in 2021. Additionally, she was recognised as a finalist in the Innovation category at the Women in ICT Awards in 2022 for her contributions and thought leadership in the field.
Irina actively gives back to the professional community by volunteering for the ARANZ Council. She is also deeply committed to fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration in the tech community, co-running the vibrant Wellington M365 Meetup group with over 1,200 members.
