The South West Development Commission in Western Australia is leading a pilot of using Microsoft 365 suite for records management purposes. We are looking for a contractor that can support this project.

This position is for immediate start. A summary of the requirements and skills are outlined below:
  • Electronic Document Records Management System design and implementation – pilot initiative and test of concept
  • Project involves design and costing customisation of Microsoft 365 Suite
  • If project is approved to proceed after design and costing the pilot will be implemented across three sites in Western Australian Government
    • Gascoyne Development Commission (13 staff)
    • Great Southern Development Commission (16 staff)
    • South West Development Commission (25 staff)
  • Essential skills for the role include project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiations and writing documentation
  • Your previous work experience will be within an IT/IM environment and ideally with previous experience implementing compliant records management solutions
  • Experience working with the Microsoft 365 suite and in a public sector environment desirable but not essential
  • Solution must be compliant with relevant legislation and an ideal applicant will have significant knowledge and understanding of WA State Records Act 2000 and the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act (pending)
  • Position is flexible, can be delivered remotely and part-time
  • Scope of works for the project can be provided on request from contact officer below
