ANZ Pre-Sales Specialist – Scanners, IDP, Capture Software, ECM, Workflow Automation

POSITION SUMMARY
The ANZ Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist plays a critical role in supporting sales efforts across Australia and New Zealand. This role focuses on identifying, supporting, and closing new business by demonstrating the technical fit and value of Kodak Alaris solutions—including scanners, capture software, and IDP platforms—within the customer’s environment and use case.

Professionals with experience in Scanners, IDP, Capture Software, ECM, or Workflow Automation—especially those from Copier, MFD Pre-Sales, or Document Storage backgrounds—are strongly encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the sales team in technical discussions with customers and channel partners.
  • Deliver hands-on demos and communicate the value of Kodak Alaris solutions throughout the sales cycle—from proof of concept to design and implementation.
  • Answer technical questions on features, architecture, and integration into customer environments.
  • Provide product and pre-sales training to partners and customers.
  • Assist in building ROI models and formal proposals.
  • Act as a point of escalation for pre-sales solution support across the region.
  • Present solution capabilities and workflow integration to customers.
  • Position Kodak Alaris solutions favorably against competitors.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating expertise across Info Input Solution and Capture Pro.
  • Support or lead key stages of the sales process: evaluation, scoping, demonstration, requirements gathering, proposal, and closure.
  • Develop repeatable demo environments for use across ANZ.
  • Collaborate with product management on feature requests and enhancements.
  • Research competitors and articulate Kodak Alaris’ advantages credibly.
  • Assist in selling Professional Services to channel partners.
  • Travel required: Interstate and overseas (25–50%).

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong technical experience in the Document Management industry.
  • Experience with IDP software or scripting for automation (e.g., JSON, Java, Power Automate).
  • Energetic, focused, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Skilled in building relevant customer demos and conducting discovery workshops.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Familiarity with on-premise and cloud-based document technologies.
  • Experience with solution architecture and API integrations.
  • Executive presence and ability to simplify technical topics for decision-makers.
  • Strong writing and online presentation skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in pre-sales engineering.
  • Experience with document scanners and capture software.
  • Experience with scripting, JSON files, and metadata.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power Automate, AWS, and Google platforms.
  • Must have a car for travel.
