Information Management Officer
City of Burnside
This role involves:
- Preparation, scanning, classifying and registration of all inwards correspondence maintaining a high degree of confidentiality using Council’s Electronic Document Management System (ECM).
- Fast and accurate data entry skills with the ability to classify and index documents according to business rules and standards.
- Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers, including advice and training.
- Contribute to Council's archive management, including processing returns and retrievals to State Records and offsite storage providers.
- Providing front counter and contact centre relief to the Customer Experience team as required.
- Ideally you will have previous experience in this field in a government environment or have completed Certificate III in Records Management. You will have a sound understanding of the legislation relating to Records Management. Your exceptional data entry and computer skills together with accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this position. You will have outstanding communication skills, be organised to manage multiple tasks and be a team player. In this position, it is important to have a high level of personal integrity and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
The position is on a full-time, classified at Level 3 plus 12% superannuation under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
