Announcing DiAGRAM version 1
The National Archives UK and DPC are pleased to announce that DiAGRAM (the Digital Archiving Graphical Risk Assessment Model) is officially no longer a prototype and has a permanent home at https://diagram.nationalarchives.gov.uk.
They would like to thank all those who assisted with user testing and feedback as they worked with Jumping Rivers to reach this milestone. The new version has significantly improved accessibility and usability (they have still not found a way to make the PDFs you can download completely accessible, so they will continue to look at that, but all information in those is available in accessible form within the rest of the website). The work has also involved rewriting much of the backend code to move away from ShinyApps and produce a far more robust tool.
The tool allows you to benchmark the current risks to your digital holdings and then explore the actions you could take to reduce these to compare the potential reductions in risk from these to assist in preparing business cases or providing other supporting evidence to stakeholders.
Information on providing feedback is given in the page footer throughout the tool. The National Archives UK and DPC would be very interested to hear back from those who use the tool as to how it has helped and suggestions for further improvements.
Access to the tool can be found at the link below:
