Don't miss out on this discussion forum to make sense of Microsoft 365 Records Management!
The big question in government records management at the moment is how do we deal with Microsoft 365?
On one hand, it presents a rich set of capabilities that give agency staff more options to organise, manage and collaborate on their work than have ever been available to them before.
On the other hand, the sheer volume of applications and the record formats that they create mean that the challenge of managing records in Microsoft 365 has a level of complexity that we've never previously had to deal with.
It begs the natural question - how do we meet our regulatory obligations and ensure that good records management practices are implemented and carried out?
The short answer to this could be Microsoft's own Purview.
But most in our industry aren't sure what capabilities it presents, whether it's up to Australian (and ISO) standards, and whether it meets our regulatory requirements.
In this webinar, we aim to open a discussion forum for everyone to make sense of Microsoft 365 Records Management and how it should be delivered in Government agencies together.
To achieve this, we will start with an overview covering:
1. The records management capabilities available in Microsoft 365/Purview
2. Where Purview falls short based on the Microsoft 365 guidance released by the Council of Australasian Archives and Records Authorities.
3. The non-regulatory capabilities that provide opportunities to raise the quality of records the agency is producing and using.
At the end of these presentations, we will open the floor for a panel discussion with our presenters and attendees so that we can all make sense of the capabilities available and what we do about them.
