When the Path Isn’t Straight — Stacey’s RI/M Story
After stepping away from university, her career began with a local government traineeship in Library Services, followed by a short-term role in Council’s Records office that quickly became permanent.
That role sparked her return to study, completing a Bachelor of Information Studies (Records and Archives Management) while balancing work, parenting and major life changes.
In the past year, Stacey has achieved RIMPA Skilled Certification, RIMPA Associate status, attended her first Roadshow and RIMPA Live, completed the Unlocking the Potential of Information Management Masterclass, and received the Tom Lovett Outstanding Student Award.
Her journey reflects resilience, self-driven professional development, and the growing impact of RIM practitioners.
