Stephen Clarke MRIM

Stephen Clarke RIMPA Global Ambassador and J. Eddis Linton Award winner 2012, is an Information/Data Management Consultant and Virtual CDO. Stephen was previously Chief Archivist of Archives New Zealand, a career highlight of 20 years in senior NZ Public Sector roles in Inland Revenue, NZ Transport Agency, Offices of the Ombudsman and Auditor-General, Department of Internal Affairs, and at The National Grid.

As ISO/TC46/SC11Head of Delegation and Working Group Chair Stephen has co-developed standards such ISO 15489, ISO 13028, ISO 16175, and the ISO 30300 series.

As an anthropologist he understands human systems, and as a technical expert he understands information systems, using technology to connect these two together in innovative ways to achieve human-centred outcomes is his professional passion.

David Fricker

David Fricker is a Strategic Consultant, currently based in Abu Dhabi, as Special Advisor to the Director-General National Library and Archives of the UAE.

David is a former Director-General of the National Archives of Australia, a former President of the International Council on Archives and a current member of the UNESCO Memory of the World International Advisory Committee.

David is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Professional Member of the Australian Society of Archivists. In 2015 he was honoured to be made Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters (Chevalier dans l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres) by the Republic of France.

Carolyn Hartman MRIM

Cheryl Emin

As a Knowledge Management Specialist at BlueScope, I apply my passion for knowledge, technology, and innovation to support our strategic and operational goals. Over two years, I've led and implemented key knowledge management initiatives, enhancing organisational collaboration, learning, and performance. My projects include improving external archiving processes and conducting a thorough content review in Confluence, leading to a vital needs analysis for upgrading our Library Management System.

My career spans over 14 years, reflecting diverse skills and interests in education, franchising, and library science. As a primary school teacher and librarian, I fostered inclusivity, literacy, and creativity. Additionally, I've contributed as a sessional lecturer at TAFE NSW, written for the SCAN journal, and acquired certifications in project management, note-taking, and business writing. Debbie Cutts MBA, FRIM

Debbie is a seasoned Enterprise Information Management (EIM) professional, located in Western Australia.  She has extensive IT technical and EIM leadership experience, has completed her MBA and is currently working towards achieving a Master of IT Leadership.  Debbie is also a PROSCI certified change professional and is a passionate agent of change and thought leader with a quirky mix of an agile business analyst, knowledge manager and EIM subject matter expert.

Debbie’s has gained her experience over 35 years through working in a variety of industries including national and international law firms, City of Stirling WA, Parliament of WA, Fremantle Ports, VenuesWest, BHP and Synergy, WA’s biggest energy retailer.

Working at Synergy has given Debbie a great opportunity to work on renewable energy projects such as the Virtual Power Plants for schools (or VPP for schools). The project is about testing and learning how a VPP could help each school better manage their electricity consumption.  Another project Debbie worked on was Project Symphony, an exciting and innovative pilot where eligible Distributed Energy Resources (DER) like rooftop solar, batteries and selected household appliances could be coordinated as part of a VPP. 

Debbie is a proud recipient the RIMPA J. Eddis Linton Individual Award for Excellence 2014 and recently presented at an OpenText conference on the work her team had undertaken for Drawing Management. As a result, Synergy won the Digital Transformation Excellence Award recognising the adoption of information technology innovation to enhance and achieve governance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Dianne Colls

Di is a seasoned professional in the information management sector, boasting over 20 years in the field and the past 17 years at the City of West Torrens council.

Dr Bethany Sinclair-Giardini MRIM

Bethany fell into the world of information management back in the early 90s and has been championing the cause ever since.  

She completed her doctorate in the UK and moved to Australia in 2017, and currently works for Votar Partners, a boutique information governance consultancy, where she enjoys helping her clients overcome their IM challenges, particularly within the local government sector.  

She is passionate about the profession, having served on the former Vic Branch and has previously written and taught on several RIMPA courses, in addition to teaching for Curtin University.

Giovanni Forero

Giovanni Forero has extensive experience assisting organisations with their information needs. 6 years of experience working with Medical Records, Data Capture and HIPPA in United States of America, and 13 years of experience working in Australia implementing information and record solutions for clients across all multiple verticals, consulting and developing information strategies to understand the information needs and behaviours of users and organisations.

With a Master on Information and Knowledge Management from UTS, he is currently in the latest stages of his Doctoral research for UTS, investigating the information practices of scientists when researching highly resistant bacteria.

Giovanni has contributed to various Information Science conferences like COLIS 2019, ASIS&T 2019, RAILS 2016 and RIMPA 2017, 2019, 2021, presenting his ideas about the information practices of individuals in the greater context of everyday life and work, and currently directs the Intelligent Information Management (IIM) practice at Konica Minolta, where he advises organisations to implement information solutions, from discovery to implementation and continuous improvement.

Jade Reed ARIM

Jade has extensive experience with records, information management, technology and digital transformation in Local Government. Jade currently works as the Manager of Digital and Customer Information at Hunter’s Hill Council.

In previous employment, Jade was a consultant for Redman Solutions. For Jade, consulting is all about getting the right people in the room and asking the right questions to identify the challenges different business areas face, and to improve processes that deliver better outcomes for council, the community and customers.

Records and information management is not always a high priority in some organisations, but Jade’s fresh perspective and deep understanding helps teams make significant process improvements, and fast.

Jade White

Jade is an accomplished Information Management practitioner from Information Proficiency with 5+ years’ experience in the Information and Records Management industry. Joy Siller Life ARIM

Joy Siller is the Managing Director of Siller Systems Administration, a private information management consulting business.  

Joy has almost 40 years’ experience in the information management field having initially started in the NSW State Archives Office.  She has undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in library science and business/marketing; has worked full-time as a consultant, part-time as an academic at university; and chaired and participated in various committees and boards.  

Joy has been a member of RIMPA for many years and, as well as presenting at many of its conventions and seminars, was a board member and NSW branch councillor.

Nicole Thorne-Vicatos ARIM

Nicole has 23 years’ experience in public sector information and records management.  

Over this time, Nicole has led projects ranging from sentencing and archiving large volumes of files; EDRMS implementation and associated change management processes; and the creation of a federal government’s Retention and Disposal Authority - all while remaining in North Queensland.  

She is an advocate for the importance of RIM practitioners living and working in rural/remote areas and sees RIMPA Global as a key enabler for this. Nicole is a co-founder of TropiCoP – a community of practice for RIM practitioners in North Queensland.

Strategic Pillar - Social and Environmental Programs

Rebbell is a dedicated supporter of RIMPA and honoured to have represented NSW as Director of NSW for the last 10 years. He has worked in Local Government in a range of roles including Library Services, Customer Service and Records after beginning work in Library Services at Kogarah Council and then at Willoughby Library, Botany Library, Randwick Library, Rockdale Customer and Records and now Bayside Council NSW as the Coordinator Records & Information Management. During Rebbell’s 40 years of service in Local Government he has been fortunate to have had many opportunities to develop a well-rounded understanding of the services provided to clients, stakeholders and residents/ ratepayers. Winning the RIMPA - J Eddis Linton Outstanding Group Award 2019 for the Amalgamation of two Council Records systems into one – Bayside Council NSW.

Some key projects led by Rebbell include the introduction of Third Party Print Services, 2 new Council Library buildings, Offsite storage of Council's records and the classification, storage and digitisation of Council's significant Records, fully automated system for the control, issue and storage of council’s documents, including the transfer from a paper based system to electronic (TRIM and Content Management), closing the Bayside Councils NSW Network drives and last the amalgamation of two Councils Records System, Botany Council and Rockdale Council to form Bayside Council NSW - TRIM to Content Management.

Samantha Ping-Nam

Samantha is currently a Senior Manager within Information Management Services based in Darwin with the Northern Territory Government – Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD).

Sam has worked within the Northern Territory Government for over 14 years in a variety of areas including Information Management, Project Management, Freedom of Information (FOI) and Privacy, Records Management, Strategic Services and Reform, Policy, Ministerial Liaison, Child Protection & Youth Justice reform and Emergency Response Activation.

Over the last few years Sam has enjoyed working for DCDD on projects related to the centralisation of FOI services across NT Government and implementing improved processes and software.  Including the current development of a new FOI Case Management System to enhance the process of FOI for NT Government agencies and members of the public alike.  Sam also leads the Records Support and Training teams within Information Management Services.

Sandra Ennor ARIM

Sandra Ennor has embraced a 25-year career in the industry and is currently working as an Information Management Consultant.  

Focusing on client engagement, where system design and managing processes, analysis of recordkeeping practices, training and education had been core to her work - Sandra’s new challenges include influencing information culture, recordkeeping compliance and maturity and data management.

Sheryl Mapp ARIM

Sheryl Mapp is an information governance professional and has worked across the government and private sector over the last 30 years.

She has successfully led teams and projects that have been both the winner of, and runner-up to, major industry awards.

Sheryl is an accomplished workshop and seminar leader, and emeritus lecturer in records and archives management.  

Sheryl participates in professional and community activity including mentoring, consultation, and sponsors a child through the Smith Family organisation.

As well as authoring several books and articles, including a school text book, Sheryl has also been a quiz show contestant on Australian television.
