Roundtable Session Overview | Challenges of AI for Information Management

Proudly sponsored by RecordPoint

This interactive roundtable explores the evolving challenges of integrating Artificial Intelligence into Information Management (IM), with a particular focus on the intersection between technology, governance, and human behaviour.

The session will commence with a targeted presentation on AI and the Human Factor, examining how human decision-making, trust, ethics, and capability influence the success or failure of AI-enabled IM practices.

Following this, participants will engage in a facilitated discussion to identify real-world challenges currently being experienced across organisations. These may include governance gaps, data quality issues, skills shortages, cultural resistance, and the pace of technological change.

Participants will then break into smaller roundtable groups to:

  • Analyse priority challenges
  • Share practical experiences
  • Co-design actionable solutions and strategies

The session will conclude with a group report-back, consolidating insights into a shared understanding of key risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for the IM profession.
