Course Overview

The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is designed to build confident, capable leaders who can inspire teams and drive organisational success.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop strong communication and critical thinking skills, learn to manage workplace relationships effectively, and apply emotional intelligence to lead with purpose. You’ll gain the expertise to plan and manage business operations, budgets, and resources, while implementing sustainable practices and achieving strategic goals.

The program also equips you to lead projects, guide team performance, and communicate with influence, preparing you to take on leadership roles across a range of industries.

Course Details

Duration: Learners typically complete the course within 12–18 months when studying part-time. You will, however, be provided a generous enrolment period of up to 24 months to support flexible progression through the program.

Delivery: Online study, interactive virtual classroom and self-paced activities

Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for entry into this training program. However, WYSE Business College screens prospective learners against the following criteria to ensure suitability and support successful participation:

  • Completion of Year 10 or an equivalent level of education or experience.
  • Basic computer and digital skills.
  • Sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Learners may be required to complete an LLN assessment as part of the enrolment process.
  • A Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Learners who do not initially meet LLN or digital skill requirements may still be able to enrol, provided the trainer endorses the enrolment and appropriate support strategies are implemented.
