DESCRIPTION
Starting from the question 'What is a digital record?' - this workshop will unpack various aspects of Digital Archiving which will include digital sentencing, retention, and disposal. Consideration is given to the different systems where digital records may be found, and how different systems and repositories can add or detract from the integrity and authenticity of that record.

This workshop will introduce you to the differences between digital archiving, preservation, and perpetuation. The workshop will also introduce you to some terminologies, standards, and the digital preservation capability maturity model (DPCMM).
