DESCRIPTION

Every interaction that we have within our organisation is collected as information in one way or the other. This can become overwhelming for your organisation when you’re collecting sensitive data that can be compromised and needs to be secured. This is where Information Governance comes in and guides us on how information is gathered, kept, stored and how to use it as well.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this workshop, you should be able to:

  • Define and understand information governance
  • Understand what policies, procedures and control documents your organisation should have
  • Identify information as an asset
  • Identify information risks and mitigate risks
