Project Management is a life skill that is essential though we are not all project managers. We have seen ourselves being assigned to work on projects and we try our best to navigate and ensure we deliver the expected results.
Records and Information Practitioners can no longer rely solely on our industry-specific skills as our roles have evolved and now require transferable or soft skills such as project management. Most types of work can be classified as a project although the size, length and complexity of the project will always differ, therefore we all need to have project management skills to plan, delegate, monitor and control activities and aspects of the project to achieve the project objectives.

Sandra Ennor has embraced a 25-year career in the industry and is currently working as an Information Management Consultant.
Focusing on client engagement, where system design and managing processes, analysis of recordkeeping practices, training and education had been core to her work - Sandra’s new challenges include influencing information culture, recordkeeping compliance and maturity and data management.
Pursuing a number of related interests has broadened Sandra’s awareness of industry perspectives as well as a deeper appreciation of risk management.
