Dr Louise Curham is a researcher and practitioner in the cultural sector, with extensive experience in information governance. Louise has worked behind the scenes in archives and museums and has shared both her own work and that of others through galleries, events, and screenings.
She joined the university sector in 2020 after two decades working across government information, community records and archives, and audiovisual collections. Louise has held policy and project-based roles at the National Archives of Australia (2002–2007; 2009–2019) and the Australian National Maritime Museum (2008–2009). She has also served as an advisor in the community archives sector.
Louise completed her PhD at the University of Canberra and holds information management qualifications from RIMPA, Charles Sturt University, and Edith Cowan University. She originally trained in film, a thread that has continued throughout her career, with ongoing interest in managing complex analogue and digital objects. Her current research focuses on objects that resist meaningful digitisation.

John has worked in business development for 23 years providing outsourced services, including digitisation, information and records management, fully automated multichannel communications, full business process re-engineering and operational managed services. John works with Government supplying secure end to end digitisation services, including ballot scanning for election events and preservation digitisation of heritage materials from paper files, books, and maps to micro fiche for the likes of the National Library and National Archives of Australia.

Joy Siller is the Managing Director of Siller Systems Administration, a private information management consulting business. She has over 40 years’ experience in information management field having started in the NSW State Archives Office in the 1980s. She has undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in library science (BA Lib Sc) and business/marketing (Master of Business).
As well as having worked full-time as a consultant, in the past she has been a part-time academic at university, and chaired and participated in various committees and boards within the tertiary sector. Within her field of information management, she is also a trainer, facilitator and published author. She holds a passion for education and building awareness of the importance of information in society.

Machelle Tennent is an accomplished Information Management leader with 15 years of experience driving digital transformation and governance initiatives across government agencies. Currently the Assistant Director of Information Management at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Machelle excels in project leadership, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Her notable achievements include overseeing the ACCC Records Authority refresh, leading significant digital migration projects, and implementing innovative information protection strategies. With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, Machelle brings a holistic and strategically informed perspective to information governance.
Known for fostering collaborative teams and supporting professional growth, Machelle is passionate about building accountable, future-ready information management practices. She holds a Master of Information Management from Curtin University, along with advanced certifications in ITIL and PRINCE2 Agile.

Sandra Ennor has embraced over 25 years in the industry and is currently working as an Information Management Consultant.
Tackling widespread challenges is core to her work, including improving information governance and building an awareness of strategic objectives into client engagement.
As part of the Research Advisory Committee, Sandra is keen to provide a platform for experts and stakeholders to guide research and/or education by setting priorities, evaluating proposals and ensuring research aligns with community needs and expectations. This can lead to impactful research and relevant outcomes to our industry and a sustained approach to best practice.

He offers a strong practitioner perspective on how research can drive practical advancements in information governance, funding accessibility, and innovation pathways.

Villy Magero is a seasoned Information Management professional with over 25 years of experience leading digital transformation and governance initiatives within Kenya’s public sector. She is the Principal Records Management Officer/Deputy Director of Records and Archives at the Nairobi City County Assembly and a 2019 AIEF Scholarship recipient.
Villy specialises in electronic records preparedness, policy development, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Her achievements include steering key policy processes at NCCA, contributing to the Catalysing African Archives for Social Good project with the University of Illinois, and supporting innovative initiatives with the Kenya Association of Records Managers.
Passionate about professionalism and mentorship, she actively champions progressive practices across the Global South. Villy is completing an MSc in Records and Archives Administration and holds a BSc in Information Science along with a Diploma in IT.

Xander is the Manager of Standards and Policy at the Public Record Office Victoria, where they oversee the development of policies and guidance for the Victorian Government, including the Artificial Intelligence Technology and Recordkeeping Policy. They also produce the Information Management Maturity Assessment Program reports, drawing on data from the IM3 (Information Management Maturity Measurement) assessments.
Their professional interests focus on strengthening understanding of the intersections between records, data, information, and knowledge management; exploring the impacts of technological change; and balancing the diverse needs of stakeholders across government sectors.
Xander brings to the RAC more than 20 years of experience in records management within the Victorian Government, along with a strong curiosity about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
