20 Days to Go Until RIMPA Live 2026!

The countdown is well and truly on. In just 20 days, RIMPA Live Convention 2026 will bring the records and information management community together at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, from 20–22 October for three days of learning, connection and conversation about the future of our profession.

Under this year’s theme, AI Meets Information, the program brings together expert speakers, practitioners and industry leaders across three stages. Sessions will explore some of the biggest issues affecting R&IM professionals today, including AI and AI governance, information governance, privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, Microsoft 365, information architecture, digital transformation, retention and disposal, and the changing role of information professionals.

Two keynote speakers will help bookend the main convention program. On Wednesday morning, Dominic Thurbon will present Data, AI, People and the New Information Advantage, exploring how organisations can respond to disruption and the changing relationship between people, information and technology. On Thursday afternoon, Lindsey Leigh Pearson will deliver the Grand Finale Keynote, The Future is Personal: A Billion Little Moments, bringing the convention together for one final look at leadership, change and what comes next.

RIMPA Live is also an opportunity to step away from the screen and have conversations you simply can't replicate online. The Trade Arena brings together R&IM technology providers, consultants and service specialists, giving delegates the chance to see solutions firsthand, ask questions and gain practical advice and insights directly from the people working across the industry.

On Tuesday evening, the Welcome Reception: A Night at the Movies will officially kick off the social side of RIMPA Live at The Stables Rooftop Bar. Then on Wednesday night, it's time for The Diamond Ball: A Regal Masquerade, an evening to celebrate, reconnect and enjoy the company of the R&IM community.

With expert speakers, practical sessions, new technologies, industry exhibitors and plenty of opportunities to meet the people behind the profession, there is a lot waiting in Sydney.
