2026 Whyte Lecture: Preserving, sharing and shaping queer histories
Who gets to shape the histories preserved in our archives?
This year's lecture will explore the responsibilities of archivists in supporting LGBTQIA+ communities to preserve, share and shape their own histories, reflecting on the International Council on Archives' Declaration on LGBTQI+ and Sex-Affective and Gender Diversity Archives and Archivists.
The evening will also provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues and professionals across the library, archives and records sectors.
