Launching: Our Wise Leaders (OWLS)

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Our Wise Leaders (OWLS), an extraordinary initiative that promises to redefine the landscape of records and information management. Comprising distinguished practitioners who have been instrumental in shaping the history of RIMPA since its inception in 1969, the OWLS form a dedicated committee guiding the organisation and its members toward a prosperous future.

With over 150 years of experience, the OWLS bring profound insights into the industry's evolution, ensuring a forward-thinking approach. Selected by the Board based on their remarkable contributions, these esteemed visionaries are coordinated by the Standards and Innovation Portfolio Lead.

Your OWLS are: Veronica Pumpa, Roger Buhlert, Phil Taylor, Peter Smith, Chris Simpson, Stephanie Ciempka-Kaufhold, and Margaret Pember.

To celebrate the launch of the program, we're going to be highlighting one of it's members every week for the next seven six weeks. This week, we'll be shining the spotlight on Veronica Pumpa!

Veronica is a trailblazer in government records management. With 25 years of leadership across various sectors, Veronica has championed best practices and equipped agencies with efficient recordkeeping systems. Her impact extends to RIMPA, where she influenced policies and served as ACT President.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions, Veronica received Life Membership in 2012. As an OWL, she continues to advance records management practices, guiding the industry toward excellence.
