Announcing the M365 Customer Advisory Board (CAB)
RIMPA and Microsoft have recently come to an agreement on creating the Asia Pacific Customer Advisory Board for E5 Records Management License holders. Lead by Karl Melrose from Leadership Through Data on behalf of RIMPA, our CAB will be the first in Asia Pacific, and we will also be joined by Western North American organisations.
The goal of this initiative is to make sure that the development of Records Management functionality in M365 goes in a direction that allows it to meet the higher standards we have in this part of the world.
The CAB will meet monthly, and once a quarter our feedback will go directly into the development process for Microsoft 365 Records Management.
Eligibility - The CAB is open to one representative of organisations that have at least 250 licenses for the e5 level records management feature set - so those who have either an e5 license, or have licensed the Records Management feature set separately are eligible to join.
The process for joining the advisory board is -
- You - Complete the form at this link and select the APAC/Western North America option at the bottom - https://aka.ms/MIG/CAB
- You - Please send an email to [email protected] letting me know that you have completed the form
- Microsoft will verify your license tier and that you have an NDA. If your organisation does not have an NDA, we will organise to have one executed with you - it is a pre-requisite for joining as there will be discussion about their engineering roadmap and other confidential information
- I will add you to the Customer Advisory Board meeting list and invite you on an ongoing basis
Please email me via [email protected] if -
- You have other queries about this
- You fall under the 250 license count. I was trying to down to 150 and I'm still aiming for it to be 150
- You have any other feedback, ideas, areas of concern, features you'd like etc
This is a great opportunity for us to make records management in M365 the records management that we need.
