Call for Applicants: DPC Grant for ARA 2023 Conference in Belfast

The DPC is pleased to offer a Career Development Fund grant for the 2023 Annual Conference of the Archives and Records Association (#ARA2023), taking place from 30th August to 1st September in Belfast, UK.

This grant will cover 100% of the Full Conference registration fees including two nights’ accommodation. Applications are welcomed from DPC Members until the application deadline of 07:00 UTC on 23rd May 2023, and more details about the grant are provided below.

About the ARA Conference 2023

The Archives and Records Association (ARA) UK & Ireland Annual Conference brings together members, colleagues, and influential players of the recordkeeping sector to discuss the latest developments and network with fellow members of the community. This year’s ARA 2023 Conference (#ARA2023) will return to Belfast for the first time since 2007, taking place at the Europa Hotel in Belfast, UK, from 30th August to 1st September.

The ARA 2023 theme is Communities: "Over three days we will talk about communities of users, stakeholders, colleagues, and collaborators. Revisiting and rebuilding relationships and connections, addressing issues prevalent within and between us, whilst, all the time, enriching our professional community with learning and inspiration. Our 2022 conference brought this professional community together in person for the first time since the pandemic, and, building on that experience, we want to use our 2023 gathering to serve and strengthen the record-keeping community.”
