Microsoft has issued a high-priority alert after uncovering active cyber attacks targeting on-premise SharePoint servers. The zero-day vulnerability is being used to breach systems across US and international organisations.

Microsoft advises all users to install the latest security updates for SharePoint Subscription Edition. For 2016 and 2019 versions, patches are still in progress. In the meantime, affected servers should be disconnected from the internet if protection can’t be applied.
