Digital Preservation Futures Event Series 2023: Registration Now Open for Panel Discussion and Webinars

Registration is now open for the DPC's members-only annual ‘Digital Preservation Futures’ event series, join them for:

DPC Supporter Panel Discussion: “So I’ve finally procured a digital preservation system, now what?” 16 October, 1500-1630 UTC

Kicking-off the series, the DPC Supporter Panel Discussion: “So I’ve finally procured a digital preservation system, now what?” on 16th October will aim to demystify what happens next after a digital preservation system has been procured. How long does it take? What is required? What is expected of the procuring institution? What support can be expected from the supplier?

The DPC Supporter speakers will aim to answer these questions and more, offering their advice and views on what makes a smooth implementation, before we open the floor to questions from DPC Members.

This event will be repeated as DPC watch party for members in Australasia and Asia-Pacific. Details to follow.

Digital Preservation Futures Webinar Series, 17 – 27 October, various times

Continuing from 17th – 27th October 2023, this webinar series will then showcase the current product and service offerings of DPC Supporters.

The Supporter organisations will each introduce their digital preservation offering, before either inviting the reflections of a customer guest speaker or by discussing key issues related to DPC Member needs through a dialogue with DPC staff and attendees.

The webinar series will run over 2 weeks, with each session lasting 1 hour. All webinar episodes will be recorded and made available to DPC Members online after each event.
