Early Bird Registration Now Open for iPRES 2025
Ad hoc sessions at iPRES are submission categories beyond the traditional paper, panel, poster, workshop, and tutorial submissions. They offer a flexible and informal way to share your ideas, projects, and insights with the iPRES community without the need to submit a full paper.
There are several categories in the Ad Hoc Programme:
- Lightning Talks
- Games
- Birds of Feather (BoF) discussion sessions
- Suggest your own activity!
Ad Hoc sessions are lightly reviewed by the Programme Committee Chairs. Submission is via a simple form, rather than the submission portal, and ad hoc abstracts are not published in the proceedings.
Submit your Ad Hoc contribution here.
The deadline for submitting Ad Hoc session proposals is 18 July 2025, End of Day, Anywhere on Earth. Contributors will receive final notification of acceptance by 25 July 2025.
This year marks a significant milestone, with iPRES being held in Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time, and only the second time in the southern hemisphere. The conference offers a unique opportunity to engage with the global digital preservation community and connect with professionals from across Aotearoa and beyond.
Early Bird registration is available until 1 September 2025. Flexible options include full conference passes, one-day tickets, and discounted rates for students. Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available to suit different needs and locations.
