Exclusive Offer for RIMPA Members from the ASA
The Australian Society of Archivists (ASA) wishes to offer RIMPA members a discount rate to their ever popular Keeping Archives on-line courses. They believe that the GLAMR (ALIA, AMaGA and RIMPA) sector would benefit enormously from these courses, thus the ASA are offering RIMPA members the same discount that ASA members currently receive for the courses.
Their pioneering suite of online e-learning courses, based on the well-regarded publication Keeping Archives, provide a new level of on-line learning for the GLAMR sector, filling a gap between tertiary studies and on-the-job experience. You can find out more about their courses the ASA website where you can watch a sneak-peak preview video of the "Introduction to Records and Archives" course.
The available courses, included in the Keeping Archives 6-course-pack are:
- Introduction to Records and Archives
- Appraisal
- Context Control and Documentation
- Physical Management and Preservation
- Access
- Digital Records and Archives
The Introduction to Records and Archives course is being offered to RIMPA members for only $10 per person (instead of $200 for non-ASA members). Our other five courses are being offered to RIMPA members at the ASA member rate for $200 per person (instead of $300 for non-ASA members). If RIMPA members wish to purchase all six courses, they are also available at the ASA member rate of only $800 (instead of $1,500 for non-members).
To receive the discounted price, purchases will need to be made through the shop on the ASA website.
This special offer is valid for six months commencing immediately.
