Stephanie Ciempka-Kaufhold's remarkable journey in the realm of records and information management began in 1971, and since then, her contributions have left an indelible mark on the field. Her involvement in the profession has been characterised by her commitment to excellence and her unwavering passion for advancing the standards and practices within RIMPA.

In 1979, Stephanie's dedication led her to join the ACT Branch Council of RIMPA, where she would play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's direction and impact.

A Career of Leadership and Excellence

Over the course of her extensive career, Stephanie's influence rippled through 15 different Federal government agencies. Her roles were predominantly managerial, with a specific focus on records and information management. Her ability to guide and lead teams through the complexities of information management showcases her deep expertise in the field.

Within the RIMPA community, Stephanie's contributions were equally impressive. She held a myriad of positions on the Branch Council, demonstrating her versatility and commitment. From Marketing and Seminars Coordinator to roles as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, Stephanie's involvement was comprehensive and impactful.

Recognitions and Accolades

Stephanie's dedication did not go unnoticed. Her exceptional work in the Department of Education earned her the prestigious J. Eddis Linton Award—a testament to her dedication, innovation, and significant contributions to the field. This award recognised her exceptional efforts in an area critical to the efficient functioning of government operations.

Furthermore, her long-standing commitment was celebrated with the awarding of a Life Membership in RIMPA during the Melbourne Convention in 2019. This honour underscored her role as a driving force within the organisation and her lasting impact on the profession.
