International Archives Week- ICA Lightening Talks Extended
The deadline to apply for the International Council on Archives (ICA) Lightning Talks has been extended to Thursday, 8 May.
If you're an ICA member with a project, initiative, or experience connected to this year’s theme — #ArchivesAreAccessible — now’s your chance to present your work to the global archival community during International Archives Week (IAW) 2025.
⚡ Lightning Talks are short, five-minute presentations followed by a quick discussion. They’re a great opportunity to showcase innovation, start conversations, and connect with international colleagues. Talks can be delivered in English, French, or Spanish, and will be held online on 9 or 10 June 2025.
Submissions on topics such as inclusive metadata, participatory archiving, digital access tools, or engaging underrepresented communities are encouraged.
