Notice – Board Resignation

David has been an integral part of RIMPA Global for more than 40 years, contributing in numerous volunteer roles including Branch President, Vice President, Federal Director, Board Member, and Standards Portfolio Lead, among many others.

He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his outstanding contribution to developing the Australian standard for records management, which later evolved into an internationally recognised standard.

Throughout his distinguished career, David held senior information management roles with some of Australia’s largest organisations, including BHP, PwC, NAB, and Sydney Water, concluding his professional journey with RIMPA Global Platinum Industry Partner, Iron Mountain.

David retired in May this year and has since relocated to Italy with his wife to enjoy his retirement.

He will be deeply missed by many, not only as a Board member, but also as a mentor, colleague, and friend.

We wish David all the very best as he embraces this next chapter and look forward to seeing him remain connected to RIMPA Global in some way once he settles into his new surroundings.
