Qantas app displays wrong flyer info to users
Qantas has resolved a technology issue in its app that caused some users to see others’ profiles and booking data. The problem, which lasted about three hours, was likely introduced during recent system changes. Users on social media platform X reported that logging into the app showed them as a different person each time it was opened, giving them access to others' booking details, frequent flyer numbers, status, and boarding passes. While some users on frequent flyer forums reported similar issues, not all could replicate the problem.
