QSA's Community of Practice Meeting 4
This is your friendly reminder to register for the upcoming PRIME Network community of practice meeting occurring on Thursday 28th of August, from 10am to 11:30am.
The meeting will focus on:
- Key challenges and risks involved in managing digital public records in business systems flagged for decommissioning
- Case studies from public authorities
- Griffith University – short presentation on decommissioning legacy system
- Conversation about the risks and challenges with migrating records during decommissioning projects with:
- City of Moreton Bay
- Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Services
- Department of Justice
- Interactive Q&A with attendees around decommissioning business systems
- You are invited to participate in interactive anonymous survey questions (using the AhaSlides platform) to share your experiences and feedback with your community and QSA.
- An update on Mandatory Standards consultation
- Disaster recovery preparedness
- Disaster season in Queensland is fast approaching. QSA’s Preservation Services team will provide practical tips and reminders to prepare for disaster season.
The meeting will be held online and is open to records and information management professionals. Any number of staff from the same public authority can register to watch the livestream of the meeting and participate in the online forum.
