I am a proud mother of two and a seasoned records management professional. I have over 20 years of involvement and active participation with the association including being a member of the SA Branch Council with multiple stints as president and secretary. More recently I have served as a Director on the Board and am currently an Executive Board Member.

I believe strongly in community, fairness and social responsibility and believe that these are all integral parts of a member based organisation such as ours. In addition to being involved in the records management community I have been an active committee member of sporting and community groups over the past 30 years.

I have a broad range of experience in the records management industry and involvement in local industry events. My experience includes working as an independent consultant for over 20 years across local, state and federal government as well as the private sector.

We are currently growing and building our Association and we need to ensure that all members of our Board are active and engaged. I believe my current level of involvement has demonstrated that I am committed to the Association and our strategic goals and vision.

I would love the opportunity to continue working for the association as a Board Member and working for the betterment of our industry and members.

Thank you for reading and taking part in our election process.

Meryl Bourke – Elected Director, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to our board.

I have had the pleasure of working in the records and information industry for 37 years and have worked all of this time for Logan City Council, a supportive and dynamic employer. I was introduced to RIMPA Global in 1997, where I became immediately drawn to the warmth, openness and support provided by the Qld Local Government Chapter.

I have been fortunate to have been mentored by a number of RIMPA professional and life members who share the same passion for the industry. I will bring to the board a strategic and innovative approach, experience in collaboration, member engagement, advocacy and leadership.

With my knowledge and experience in the industry and my collaborative and innovative approach I will work with the board to ensure the RIMPA Global vision is maintained, the objectives are met and values are upheld.

David Moldrich – Elected Director, joining us with a wealth of experience and dedication.

David has extensive experience and involvement with the strategy, design, development, introduction, implementation and post-implementation of all elements of Records, Information, Data, Knowledge and Enterprise Content Management solutions to many organisations, as well as the RIM industry, both in Australia and Globally. He has conducted information audits, built information governance frameworks and established enterprise IM change programs. He is a widely published, internationally recognised advisor and mentor on these subjects.

In 2006, he was the recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the development of Standards (both National and International) in the field of Records and Information Management. He was the initiator and past Chair (and thought leader) of the Standards Australia IT/21 committee, Records and Information Management (1988 to 2017) and the initiator and past Chair (and thought leader) of the International Standards Organisation ISO TC46 SC11 committee, Records/Archives Management (1995 to 2017).

Congratulations go out to these individuals who will contribute their passion and vision to lead RIMPA into the future.

The successful nominees will be formally inducted as Board members upon endorsement at the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for the end of October.

We invite all members to join this event and help welcome the new Directors to roles.
