RIMPA Global CEO & Board – Christmas and End-of-Year Message
Dear RIMPA Global Members,
As another year comes to an end, the RIMPA Board and I extend our sincere thanks for your continued support, commitment, and enthusiasm for our profession and our amazing RIMPA community.
2025 has been a year of meaningful progress and achievement.
RIMPA Live 2025 in Melbourne was a major highlight, bringing together over 745 delegates, including 250 first-time attendees, a record that reflects the ongoing strength and energy of our community.
Member engagement has increased by more than 25%, with strong attendance at webinars, Roadshows, and of course, RIMPA Live. This uplift reinforces the value of our programs and the dedication of members who help shape RIMPA’s success.
Education and professional development have been front and centre this year. Monthly eLearn releases have expanded our learning portfolio, supporting practitioners at every stage of their careers. The launch of RIMPA’s Global Certification Program marked a significant milestone, providing recognition for information practitioners across all levels and elevating the profession globally.
We also delivered two Masterclass offerings including our third year of the Executive Engagement Masterclass, and the inaugural - Unlocking the Potential of Information Management Masterclass, inspired by our newly launched MIMS eBook Series. In total, over 500 practitioners undertook professional development through RIMPA in 2025.
RIMPA Global’s IM in Developing Countries Strategy advanced strongly with the launch of a mentoring program supporting 10 emerging Kenyan practitioners through the KARMA Talent Development initiative which clearly demonstrates RIMPA’s commitment to global capability building and ethical leadership.
The Global Information Consortium (GIC), led by RIMPA in partnership with ARMA, now has 10 international member organisations, with continued growth strengthening RIMPA’s dream of collective global influence and collaboration.
As we move into the festive season, the Board, Staff and myself wish all members, volunteers, partners, and supporters a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a safe, restful, and joyful New Year.
We look forward to continuing this exciting journey with you in 2026.
Warm regards,
Anne Cornish, CEO
