RIMPA Global Welcomes Bonita Kennedy Life ARIM as Chair of the Board
In a significant milestone for RIMPA Global, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Bonita Kennedy Life ARIM as our new Chair of the Board. With an impressive career spanning over 30 years in records management and two decades in consulting, Bonita brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted commitment to our community values.
"I've been working in records management for over 30 years and consulting for over 20. I've worked at all levels of government and the private sector on various projects during my career, including working interstate and overseas and I am excited to bring these learnings to RIMPA Global", shared Bonita, reflecting on her extensive professional journey.
A proud South Australian, Bonita has not only dedicated her career to records management but has also remained an active member of our vibrant community. As a parent of two young adults—one entering the second year of university and the other about to start year 12—her understanding of education, growth, and community ties runs deep.
With over 20 years of involvement in RIMPA Global, including multiple terms as Branch President and various roles within the former RIMPA South Australian Branch, Bonita's commitment to our vision, mission, and values is unwavering.
"I believe strongly in community and will do my best to ensure we continue to build a fair and equitable association for our members," affirmed Bonita, emphasising her dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive community within RIMPA Global.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the future, Bonita stated, "I'm really excited about the direction that RIMPA Global is heading and honored to be given the opportunity to Chair our Board." She added, "I'm also super excited that this year's RIMPA Live Convention 2024 will be in my home state, and I will be sharing lots of reasons to head to SA on LinkedIn over the next few months."
