Ukraine Response from the Statement of Solidarity with Librarians, Archivists and Information Professionals in Ukraine from Australasia

Dear Anne Cornish,

We express to you and your colleagues our respect and words of gratitude for the support of Ukrainian archivists at such a difficult time for us.

We believe in the victory and hope for your help in the reconstruction of damaged buildings and the construction of modern safe storage facilities for the full resumption of activities of Ukrainian archives.

We will need your financial, technical and expert assistance.

Today, your support in stopping the military actions of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine as a result of which the loss of the National Archival Fund of Ukraine is possible is important for us.

This is possible by condemning the aggression of the Russian Federation, excluding its archival institutions from international organizations, and terminating cooperation with them.
