The resources bring together legislation, standards, and practical guidance aligned to the State Records Act 2000, helping organisations meet compliance obligations while implementing best practice across the information lifecycle.

For Records and Information Managers, the updated framework covers key areas including information governance, creating and capturing records, managing sensitive information, storage across physical and digital environments, and retention and disposal.

Sector-specific guidance is also included, offering tailored support for state government, local government and university environments.

This update reinforces the importance of structured, compliant and defensible records management practices, particularly as organisations navigate increasing regulatory expectations and digital complexity.
