Winners Announced | Bernadette Bean SA Records Management Service Excellence Award
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 Bernadette Bean South Australian (SA) Records Management Service Excellence Award bestowed in honour of the late Bernadette Bean. This annual award aims to recognise and acknowledge records management service excellence by celebrating the best and brightest eligible SA award nominees in the records, information and archives management and allied industries. The award provides an exceptional opportunity to help shine a light on service excellence, support small initiatives, and showcase collections, management practices and solutions that contribute to local, regional or State memory or culture.
The judging panel was delighted to present this year’s winner’s award to Julie Darling, Senior Records Officer at the SA Yorke Peninsula Council.
In addition, Marilyn Howes, Manager Information Governance at the Department for Child Protection SA, and Athalee Kemp, Administration Officer Medical Records at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Peninsula Local Health Network, were awarded merit certificates for their outstanding service.
We invite you to visit our award website’s Current and Past Award Nominations page to learn about each recipient’s outstanding achievements and why their records management service excellence is being recognised. We believe their hard work, outstanding service and initiative deserves recognition and can inspire others to strive for excellence and drive positive change.
We are grateful for your support, and we also thank Records and Information Management Practitioners Alliance - Global (RIMPA Global) for continuing to endorse the award. As the 2023 winner, Julie Darling wins the Bernadette Bean SA award prize package, as well as 12-months free individual RIMPA Global membership. This membership includes access to free webinars, forums, mentoring programs, e-magazines, networking opportunities and industry updates; and discounted rates to events, workshops, training courses and the annual RIMPA Global Live Convention.
