Membership is open to individuals who have an interest in the records and information management field, in allied professions or those who support RIMPA Global’s objectives. 
Individual membership is an excellent starting point with the Association and provides the ability to strive to achieve professional recognition.  
Post nominal or voting rights do not apply at this level of membership.

Please Note: Membership begins on the day it is paid and is valid for 365 days.

Individual with Status (Certified Professional) Membership

Becoming a Certified Professional member of RIMPA is achieved through the recognition of an individuals’ work, skill level and knowledge in the records and information management industry. There are three levels of Individual with Status (Certified Professional) Membership:

  • Associate Member (ARIM)

  • Chartered Member (MRIM) 

  • Fellow (FRIM)

Each level of membership is awarded based on achieving a minimum skill level, ability to meet mandatory requirements of the membership and a range of benefits. 

Cost:

  • Associate: AUD $430.00  (GST inclusive)

  • Chartered: AUD $420.00  (GST inclusive)

  • Fellow: AUD $410.00  (GST inclusive)

The benefits of becoming a Certified Professional Member include:

  • Certificate of achievement stating status level

  • Access to Information Management Standards via SAI Global Standards Legislation

  • Unlmited free registrations to half day webinars
