RIMPA Live 2026: Accommodation and Travel Details Released for Sydney Convention
We have now released accommodation and travel information for delegates attending the RIMPA Live Convention 2026, set to take place from 20–22 October at the iconic Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
With hundreds of records and information management professionals expected to attend, early planning is being encouraged to ensure a seamless and enjoyable convention experience.
Accommodation: Where to Stay
While Royal Randwick Racecourse offers a prestigious and historic setting for the convention, it does not provide on-site accommodation. Delegates are therefore advised to secure nearby lodging in advance.
RIMPA Global has identified Meriton Suites Zetland as a recommended accommodation option due to its proximity, quality, and convenience. Located approximately 3 kilometres from the venue, the property is just a short 5-minute drive from the racecourse.
The apartment-style hotel offers spacious, modern suites designed for comfort, making it well suited for multi-day stays. Delegates can also take advantage of premium amenities, including an indoor heated pool, spa, sauna, and fitness centre. Its location near East Village shopping centre provides easy access to cafés, restaurants, and essential services.
For interstate and international attendees, the hotel is also conveniently positioned just 10–15 minutes from Sydney Airport, offering a practical base for arrivals and departures.
Although no exclusive discounted rates have been secured, Meriton Suites Zetland remains a highly recommended option due to its accessibility and overall value.

The RIMPA Live Convention 2026 will be hosted within the Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand at Royal Randwick Racecourse, with clear signage and well-organised access points to assist attendees.

For those driving to the event, free parking is available in the infield car park. Entry is via High Street, opposite the University of New South Wales. The car park is accessed through a tunnel with a height clearance of 3.1 metres.
