#GLAMRMatch 2024
Join ALIA for the #GLAMRmatch 2024 networking event—a unique opportunity to connect, grow, and learn within the GLAMR community! Open to students, graduates, and professionals from the library and information management sectors, #GLAMRmatch is your gateway to establishing meaningful connections and expanding your professional network.
#GLAMRmatch is open to:
- Currently studying LIS or Library Information Management students.
- Graduates, Established and Emerging Professionals from LIS or Library Information Management courses/degrees.
- ALIA member Personal (Student, Associate or General Member) or Professional (LibTech or Allied Field)
- Members of other GLAMR professional associations (RIMPA, AusArchivists, newCardigan etc.)
- Members of ALIA Regional and Special Interest Groups.
#GLAMRmatch provides the option:
- Have a physical/ online one-on-one meet up.
- Build your GLAMR network.
- Ask your library sector questions.
- Tailor your meet to talk to an established professional from a library in the GLAMR sector (Public, School, Academic, TAFE, Health, Law, Specialist (Gallery/Museum), Archive).
- Create a possible mentor connection.We encourage established professionals from the diverse GLAMR sector to join us, who would be happy to share their library knowledge, tips and advice for students, graduates, and emerging and other established professionals.
ALIA recommends students and graduates join to build new GLAMR networks.
